Boutique At The Rink, Bethlehem, is an organization of Lehigh Valley volunteers dedicated to supporting cancer services in the community through the annual sale of new and gently used items. Our residents LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being able to get out and enjoy a ride! A volunteer with a CDL is needed to assist two staff members with getting residents at Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center loaded onto the bus and driving on a preplanned trip through the countryside to an ice cream destination, and then return via a different route. The Moravian Historical Society in Nazareth seeks a team of volunteers to assist with a spring cleanup of its historic grounds. Various tasks, including weeding, mulching, and planting are required to help us get ready for our seasonal events. Humankind Day, hosted by Unidos, Inc is a community event which is held collaboratively with other organizations and the Allentown School District to identify the families of high need and provide supplies and activities to keep their children safe and engaged during the summer months while encouraging continued learning. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 1 at Bucky Boyle Park, but the greatest need is setting up before, and cleaning up after the event.
