Ribbon Cutting for the County’s Outpatient Restoration Long Term Structured Residence

County Executive Lamont G. McClure and the Northampton County Department of Human Services will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for Northampton County’s new Outpatient Restoration Long Term Structured Residence (ORLTSR) on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at 416 Canal Street, Easton, PA.

County Executive Lamont McClure, Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Community Program Manager Leigh Ann Ksiazek, Easton Mayor Sal Panto, Pastor Phil Davis, Northampton County Director of Human Services Susan Wandalowski, Northampton County Administrator of Mental Health Tiffany Crush, Northampton County Administrator of HealthChoices Kristy Cole, and Chief Program Officer at COMHAR Trapeta Mayson will make remarks and take questions from the press. Afterward, guests will be allowed to tour the new center.

The ORLTSR is the first-of-its-kind mental health facility in Easton. The project is supported through a working partnership with Northampton County’s Mental Health and HealthChoices Divisions, COMHAR and Shiloh Baptist Church, which owns the property. The architect, ALLOY5, completed the renovations to the property. COHMAR will provide programming for up to eight individuals who will live at the facility in a partial hospital setting. The secure facility will be staffed 24 hours a day. Outpatient treatment will include therapy, support groups, psychiatric treatment, etc.
