AntiGravity Yoga Coming to Lehigh Valley

AntiGravity Yoga Lab, Pennsylvania’s first AntiGravity yoga studio, will start classes in Emmaus on October 20

EMMAUS, Pa. (October 9, 2014) – AntiGravity® Yoga Lab, Pennsylvania’s first AntiGravity yoga studio, will open its doors and start classes on October 20. The facility, located at 687 State Ave. in Emmaus (across from the South Mall), will offer a full range of classes and workshops in its two newly designed studios, one for AntiGravity® Yoga and one for traditional mat yoga. A list of classes and workshops are available at agyogalab.com.

“AntiGravity Yoga Lab is a special place that provides a peaceful environment where any one, any body type, may experiment with and investigate their body and mind by trying new things,” said AntiGravity Yoga Lab owner Kristine McCreary. “Whether guests are looking to improve their mat yoga, want a cardio workout or simply want to stretch sore muscles, hydrate joints and relieve stress, there’s a class for everyone.”

AntiGravity yoga and fitness is designed to promote overall health and physical agility for participants of all experience levels. The fundamental benefits of AntiGravity yoga include increased core and body strength, stress relief, enhanced mat yoga skills, superior flexibility and reduced joint pressure, keeping participants looking and feeling younger and healthier.

The AntiGravity studio features 15 AntiGravity Hammocks, designed to hold up to 2,000 pounds, which have been safely welded to the ceiling. Sticky mat flooring helps assist guests during poses and techniques in the AntiGravity Hammock. The studio is surrounded by full-length wall mirrors giving guests the opportunity to check grips and poses throughout the sessions.

The traditional mat yoga studio features cork flooring, which supports and comforts feet while maintaining a solid surface for poses. The studio has a separate heating system, customizable for both hot and warm yoga classes.

“Kristine is one of the most talented Instructors we have.  I am excited and honored for her to share the technique and its benefits at her new studio.  She will represent the AntiGravity brand really well and many great things are coming to Emmaus,” said AntiGravity creator, Christopher Harrison.
