(EASTON, September 07, 2023) Join the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (DLNHC) at the Crayola Experience on September 14 for Taste of the Corridor, a 21+ tasting event to support the DLNHC mission. Participants will travel through multiple Crayola attractions while sampling food and drink from local restaurants found across the National Heritage Area’s five-county Corridor. During the event, guests will also be able to vote on Most Unique, Most Reflective of the Corridor, and Best Comfort foods provided by teams of restaurants paired with a sponsor.

The evening will start in “Bucks County.” Guests will get to experience a Crayola feature near and dear to the organization’s heritage mission – the Water Works canal attraction. They will have their first taste in this room before following the “trail” north through rooms representing Northampton, Lehigh, and Carbon counties with tastings in each. Multiple activities will be available, including Crayola’s Be a Star photo booth. The main bar and silent auction will be in the hallway leading into the next attraction.

Guests will end their journey at mile 165 in the Luzerne County room where they will receive a special gift and be treated to a mule-themed attraction.

Participating restaurant teams include Iron Mule Restaurant sponsored by Strauss & Associates/Planners, Khanisa’s Pudding sponsored by Wilson Consulting Group, and Slopeside Pub & Grill sponsored by Blue Mountain Resort, and Crayola’s own Chef Greg.

This event is a major fundraiser for DLNHC and supports programs like the D&L Trail and National Canal Museum. Tickets are $60 per person, $200 for a standard foursome, and $500 for a supporter option.
