Souderton, PA— After fourteen years as Keystone Opportunity Center’s Food Pantry Manager, Cindy Dembrosky is retiring. Cindy arrived at Keystone in 2009 as a volunteer serving Keystone’s Food Pantry. She joined Keystone staff part-time as a Food Pantry Assistant one year later. In 2011, Cindy stepped into the role of Food Pantry Manager, a role she championed and made sure every knew it was all about the pantry!

“It has been a privilege to have had the opportunity to be the Food Pantry Manager for the past fourteen years,” Cindy said. “It has truly opened my eyes to see the needs in my own community. Over the years, it has been a blessing to work with such a dedicated staff who believe in the mission of Keystone which is to educate and empower people to become more self-sufficient. Along with meeting so many wonderful people who come through our doors each month in need, I have enjoyed working side by side with so many devoted and hardworking volunteers who give of their time so generously. Our donors are very much appreciated too.”

“It is amazing to see the drive, dedication, and compassion with which Cindy operates the pantry,” Brandon Trombetta, Keystone’s Executive Director said. “Whether you are a staff member, a volunteer, or a member of the community seeking help, Cindy makes you feel like the most important person in the world. Cindy is a beloved member of the Keystone Opportunity Center family and we will all truly miss her.”You can also make a donation to Keystone in Cindy’s honor at www.KeystoneOpportunity.org/cindy
