NHCLV to hold free community Pennie Health Insurance Open Enrollment Registration Event & Health Fair on Saturday, Nov. 11 in Allentown



ALLENTOWN – November 3, 2023 – Neighborhood Health Centers of the Lehigh Valley, the region’s first Federally Qualified Health Center, will hold a free community health insurance enrollment event to help Lehigh Valley residents find 2024 coverage through Pennie. It will take place on Saturday, November 11 from 9 am – 3 pm at the downtown Allentown NHCLV health center at 160 Hamilton Street. No appointments are needed. Six Pennie Assisters will enroll attendees in health insurance plans and answer questions.

The following health insurance companies will have information tables at the event:

  • Aetna Medicare Solutions
  • Capital BlueCross CHIP
  • Highmark Wholecare
  • UPMC

It will also feature a free Health Fair with:

  • dental screenings and fluoride treatments
  • free flu and COVID vaccines
  • blood pressure and glucose checks

Based in Bethlehem, NHCLV was officially incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 2004 with a goal of meeting the needs for a coordinated system of primary care for the uninsured and underinsured residents of the Lehigh Valley.
