A Celebration of New Beginnings

Allentown— On March 23, 2024, Family Promise of Lehigh Valley will be holding its annual Homecoming Event to introduce the greater Lehigh Valley community to the work of Family Promise, to recognize its amazing volunteers and to build awareness and support for the many children and their families who are experiencing homelessness in our area. The Homecoming Event will be held at the beautiful Club at Twin Lakes located in Allentown and will include a gathering of our Family Promise community of friends, volunteers, and area businesses for a fabulous evening. The event will feature dinner, entertainment, stories of hope and a high-end auction to support the mission of Family Promise.

Making a positive impact

Family Promise of Lehigh Valley is an area 501 (c)3 organization which provides prevention services, temporary shelter, and case management to families with children who are experiencing or are on the verge of experiencing homelessness in the Lehigh Valley. Their goal is to minimize child homelessness in our communities to the greatest extent possible by assisting families in finding or retaining affordable housing and gaining financial stability. “We believe that every child deserves a home” stated Executive Director Roslyn Kuba. “Our program is unique in that it utilizes a community-based response and a volunteer force of over 500 dedicated individuals, 34 area congregations and area businesses working together to meet the immediate, basic needs of displaced families and to assist them to build patterns that will bring long-term stability” stated Chairman of the Board Laurence P.
