The Boys & Girls Club of Allentown seeks Summer Program Volunteers to help implement a diverse, safe, and fun variety of educational and recreational programs and activities for youth. The National Youth Bike Summit hosted by Community Bike Works is being held at Muhlenberg College from June 14 to June 16 and needs volunteers for a variety of shifts and tasks from assisting with registration, directing attendees to appropriate buildings, managing the bicycle check out/check in process to chaperoning a fun youth event. Docents are an integral part of the Lehigh Valley Zoo in Schnecksville. These are long term volunteer positions who act as informal teachers for the public and assist the zoo in connecting our guests with our mission by interpreting exhibits across the zoo, assisting with interactive exhibits, and working alongside our education team. Humankind Day, hosted by Unidos, Inc is a community event which is held collaboratively with other organizations and the Allentown School District to identify the families of high need and provide supplies and activities to keep their children safe and engaged during the summer months while encouraging continued learning. Looking for a fun and engaging activity with friends, why not become a Zoellner Arts Center volunteer usher? Hosting over 250 events a year including many student club activities, as well as campus and community events, volunteer for at least 5 events a season, mostly nights and weekends.
