It was a beautiful day in Bethlehem, PA to enjoy Taco Fest with friends and family. Food trucks and vendors were lined up waiting for the crowds. The ArtsQuest / SteelStacks staff and security is always kind, and helpful. People from all walks of life gathered to celebrate at Taco Fest 2024.

Some of the food trucks included: Jersey Rollz, Orizaba Restaurant, 4 Raices Street Tacos, Fiesta Churro, (Fiesta Churro was SOLD OUT before the night ended. The line never stopped.) Uno Taqueria, Grumpy’s BBQ, The Bayou, Casteneda’s, Cactus Blue (They were quite busy also all day.), Oomie Zoomiez, (The food is great. They have a good variety of empanadas.) Geaker’s Taco, The Taste Smokers, (Another busy site, if you came with friends and family, it was a good idea to have someone wait in the line they had.)

Waffl’d had a variety of yummy looking waffle concoctions, and legendary sweet tea. Take A Taco, Cousins Maine Lobster, (They have an endless amount of great food.) Scoop O Dough, Aqui Es, Holy Infancy, Theos Gyros, Taco Town, and of course the Mack Café was open to the public. Mack Café is usually always open during outdoor events, and the movies, and concerts held at ArtsQuest / SteelStacks. It’s a great place to stop.

The Hoover-Mason Trestle was popular. People ventured upstairs for the view, and to check out all the history that surrounds Bethlehem, and the steel. If you are curious, the Hoover-Mason Trestle stands “46 feet tall and 2,000 feet long.” It’s an amazing walk way, a place to take in the view of Bethlehem, and a place to see everything from a different perspective. The concerts also sound amazing on the trestle.

There is always something going on at ArtsQuest. The Levitt Pavilion has outdoor concerts and movies. Taco Fest is an added bonus for foodies in the Lehigh Valley. I met quite a few people from out of town. They came to visit family, and wound up at Taco Fest taking everything in. They had a few activities, and vendors including: Isasuma Art, Uniquely Me, Hometown Spark Jewelry, Indian Henna, and C&B Crafts.

The sponsors included: Steel Fitness, Sundance Vacation, Smiles 4 Keeps, Bethlehem Area School District, Passenantes, and Stateside Vodka.

It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, people were having fun, enjoying food and music. That is what community is about. It was a good day.

Stay up to date, and check out everything going on.
