Thursday January 16, 2025   Emmaus, Pennsylvania – NFI, a leading supply chain solutions provider, has made a generous $10,000 donation to The Kindness Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free support to foster families across eastern Pennsylvania by offering essential items for the children and teens in their care. The check presentation will occur on Friday January 17, 2025 at 12:00pm at The Kindness Project’s boutique in Emmaus. Media is invited.

“NFI asked employees to identify local organizations to support, and our employees resonated most with the Kindness Project and their mission to provide essential resources to help children and families thrive. The families they support could not be more deserving, and we are honored to present them with this donation.” – Sarah Hessinger, Regional Human Resources Manager.

NFI has a long history of giving back to communities across the US and Canada. The company is committed to supporting non-profit organizations that make a meaningful impact across their network and in communities where employees live and work.

“We are deeply grateful to NFI for their generous support,” said Jenae Holtzhafer, Founder and Executive Director of The Kindness Project. “This donation will allow us to expand our programs and further our mission to create a kinder, more connected community. With partners like NFI, we are able to continue our work and reach more people in need.”

This significant contribution will directly support The Kindness Project’s mission to provide a brighter future for youth in foster care by offering essential resources and enrichment opportunities for free. Donations like this enable youth to “shop” for clothing, shoes, hygiene items, accessories, and more with dignity and choice, which aids in them feeling seen, valued, and loved. Your support matters.
