Master Gardener Training Info for Lehigh, Northampton, and Carbon Counties

The Penn State Extension Master Gardeners will be conducting Basic Training starting in October 2025 for residents of Lehigh, Northampton, and Carbon Counties. This training is required to become a Master Gardener. Penn State Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who support the outreach mission of Penn State Extension by utilizing unbiased, research-based information to educate the public on best practices in sustainable horticulture and environmental stewardship. The first step of the process is to watch an information webinar which describes the volunteer program. The webinar will include information on the program fees, training requirements, training schedule, volunteer requirements, volunteer opportunities, how to apply and much more. You must register at the following site to receive a link to the free webinar. A link to the recording will be provided to everyone who registers for those that are not able to attend the live session.
