Downtown Bethlehem to Host Boyd Block Party on May 3rd
Bethlehem, PA – April 30, 2025 – Downtown Bethlehem is gearing up to kick off summer with the Boyd Block Party, a free, family-friendly event, on Saturday, May 3rd. The afternoon will feature live music, community engagement, and opportunities to interact with local businesses.
The event is a collaboration between Northside Alive, the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Bethlehem Association, along with the downtown business community. Guests are invited to bring blankets and enjoy the live performance of Life After Dead: Grateful Dead Tribute on the lawn at 1 West Broad.
The Boyd Block Party will include various activities for all ages outside and Broad Street from Guetter Street to New Street. Attendees can participate in classic yard games, take advantage of food and drink specials from downtown restaurants, and explore retail offerings from local shops.
Representatives from local community groups will be present to share information about summer programs and initiatives. This provides an opportunity for residents to learn about community involvement and upcoming events.
Family-friendly activities will include face painting and games for children. The event is free and open to the public. Edge Restaurant will also be serving free hotdogs inside of Dream Boyd Theatre.
