Women’s Business Council and ToastiQueen Host “Cultivating Joy” Seminar to Inspire Lehigh Valley’s Professional Women
Emmy award-winning journalist Karin Mallett moderates conversation with area brand builders and community advocates to share strategies for joyful living, leadership, and career success ahead of annual Women’s Summit on June 5, 2025
[Allentown, PA – May 14, 2025] The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s BusinessCouncil, in partnership with ToastiQueen, proudly presents “Cultivating Joy: Strategies for a Fulfilled
Life & Career,” a powerful and uplifting midday event designed to inspire women to embrace joy in all
areas of life.
Taking place Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Cedar Crest College, “Cultivating
Joy” brings together powerful voices from across the region to share their journeys toward purpose,
peace, and personal fulfillment, both personally and professionally.
“This event is not about surface-level happiness,” says Danielle Joseph, Executive Vice President, Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and WBC representative. “We’re talking about a deeper sense of joy—one rooted in peace, purpose, and collaboration. Women wear many hats, and this event offers practical tools to help flow between them with confidence and joy.”
Moderated by Emmy Award-winning journalist Karin Mallett of WFMZ-TV 69 News, the panel will
explore real-life strategies for navigating multiple roles with intention and grace, while fostering joy
through collaboration, culture, and creativity.
Featured Panelists Include:
- Annie Hollands Lanscek, Marketing Administrator at the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation and creator of the 365NAT method, focused on gratitude and variety in daily living.
- Malia Borges, founder of B. Crafty Studio and community leader, dedicated to empowering mothers and championing local businesses through Easton Mom Tribe and the West Ward Community Initiative.
- Tiffany Sondergaard, founder of –ts Brand Elevation, known for her transformative work in
public relations and event marketing, ToastiQueen visionary, and one of Lehigh Valley Style’s
2022 Influential Women of the Year.
- Darlene Wilson-Bennett, a resilient gun violence survivor, mentor, and speaker who inspires
others through her lived experience and message of hope and healing.
“We’re not talking just work-life balance,” says Tiffany Sondergaard, founder of ToastiQueen
professional development network. “It’s about embracing the fluidity of our roles and discovering joy
as a state of being. Working with the WBC, we have brought together a dynamic, high-level panel to
help embody and demonstrate what ‘Joy’ can be.”
In addition to the inspiring panel discussion, guests will be invited to participate in two engaging,
interactive experiences designed to spark ‘joyful reflection.’ Upon arrival, attendees can
contribute to the “In One Word, What Does Joy Mean to You?” Wall, where they’ll share a single
word that represents their personal definition of joy. Guests will also enjoy the DIY “Joy in Bloom”
Flower Station, where they can craft custom floral bouquets as a vibrant expression of growth,
positivity, and celebration.
