Nazareth, PA—The Moravian Historical Society invites students aged 8 to 12 to kick off their summer immersed in history during Hands-on History Camp.
Two sessions of Hands-On History Camp will run Monday through Friday, from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.
- Session One: June 16–June 20 (Only a few spots left)
- Session Two: June 23–June 27
This year’s theme is “Working Together in Early Nazareth.” Campers will discover the early colonial trades that were practiced in Nazareth by learning about the individuals who lived and worked here. Campers will learn colonial crafts like spinning,weaving, and leatherwork, play colonial games, act in a final play, and much more!
Students 13 and older (by the start of camp) are invited to apply to be Junior Camp Counselors. Junior Counselors serve as role models to campers and assist camp counselors and presenters with group activities, set-up and clean-up, and engaging campers.

The Moravian Historical Society’s Museum is open daily from 1:00 to 4:00 pm and is located at 214 East Center Street, Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
Founded in 1857, the Moravian Historical Society preserves, interprets, and celebrates the rich culture of the Moravians. The Moravian Historical Society maintains the 1740–1743 Whitefield House and the 1740 Gray Cottage, the oldest surviving Moravian structure in North America.
Recognized widely for its significant collection, the museum offers permanent and changing exhibitions and a store that features gifts, books, and handmade artisan items.
