Tee Time Turns 20: Emmaus Golf Classic Marks Two Decades of Community, Competition, and Celebration
The Emmaus Main Street Partners, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, are excited to present a major milestone in a local tradition, the 20th Annual Emmaus Golf Classic, taking place on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Green Pond Country Club. What began as a small gathering of business leaders two decades ago has blossomed into one of the most beloved and anticipated events in the region.
For twenty years, the Emmaus Golf Classic has brought together business leaders, industry professionals, and Chamber partners for a day that celebrates connection, camaraderie, and the enduring spirit of Emmaus. This event is more than a tournament, it’s a tradition, and 2025 promises to be the biggest celebration yet.
This year’s tournament is proudly presented by Service Electric Cable TV & Communications and PenTeleData, two organizations deeply committed to community connection and regional impact.
“This event exemplifies the spirit of community and collaboration that defines Emmaus,” said Mike Starner, Senior Business Development & Government Affairs Manager at Service Electric Cable TV & Communications. “We’re honored to help power a day of camaraderie, competition, and connection that benefits local businesses and residents alike.”
Jaime Mendes, Vice President of Operations at PenTeleData, shared excitement about participating in the upcoming Emmaus Main Street Partners Golf Classic: “Playing in the Emmaus Main Street Partners Golf Classic is more than just a day on the course—it’s a chance to swing for a cause that brings vitality to historic downtown Emmaus. For PenTeleData, it’s a fun, rewarding way to help support neighboring communities and businesses we connect with our fiber.”
Golfers will enjoy a full day of fun on the fairways, starting with a light breakfast provided by locally owned McDonald’s of Emmaus, followed by shotgun start at 9AM. Throughout the course, more than ten local businesses like Let’s go Coffee, ServPro of Allentown and Western Lehigh, South Mountain Cycle, and Volpe’s Sports Bar, will host interactive vendor spots with games, giveaways, or food and drink samples to keep the energy high. Midday hot dogs, sponsored by Yocco’s Hot Dogs, will provide attendees a quick refresh before the day wraps up with a lively awards reception featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, prizes, and time to unwind with fellow players and community leaders.
“We are beyond excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Emmaus Golf Classic,” said Jessica O’Donnell-Gower, Executive Vice President of the Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “This isn’t just a golf outing—it’s the can’t-miss event of the summer for anyone who loves this community and a fun time on the course. Every year it sells out because people know the connections, energy, and fun are unmatched. Even more importantly, this event directly supports our mission to uplift local businesses and strengthen the Emmaus community. If you want to be part of something truly impactful—and unforgettable—this is your chance.”
Limited golfer opportunities remain for this milestone event! Foursomes are $700, and individual golfers are $210. This tournament consistently sells out, so early registration is strongly encouraged.
