[Northampton County, PA] – Northampton County Executive Lamont G. McClure announced today that County Council has voted to move forward with contracts for the demolition and reconstruction of the Government Center parking garage.

“The council made the right decision moving forward on the approval of these contracts; it’s time to get the ball rolling,” said McClure. “This project is necessary for the safety of our employees and the public.”

The new garage will replace the aging structure currently in use and represents a major investment in the County’s core infrastructure.
