July 3, 2025 – Celebrate Independence Day in the City of Allentown at the 2025 Stars & Stripes 4th of July Celebration, taking place on Friday, July 4 from Noon to 10:00 PM at Cedar Beach Park. The rain date for the event is Saturday, July 5.

This year marks a major shift in tradition: J. Birney Crum Stadium will be closed to the public. All fireworks viewing should take place at Cedar Beach Park or surrounding areas, where the entire day’s festivities will unfold. The fireworks will be safely launched from the nearby ball field. Linden Street will close at 3:00 PM as part of the fireworks fall zone safety plan.

The celebration kicks off at noon with a family-friendly Day Party and continues into the night with live music, free activities, local food vendors, and a spectacular fireworks finale.

  • 6:00–6:40 PM: BC & Blue’s Crew
  • 7:00–7:40 PM: Scott Marshall & Highway Souls
  • 8:00–8:40 PM: East Coast Salsa Scene
  • 8:50–9:00 PM: Scott Marshall’s United We Stand All-Star Jam

LED robots will be at Cedar Beach Park with interactive appearance around 8:00 PM, and emcee Scott Marshall will keep the energy going between sets with curated playlists.

Food & Drink Vendors

From tacos and ice cream to lemonade and BBQ, more than 20 food trucks and vendors will offer a diverse menu of treats. Alcohol will be available from Hijinx Brewing Co., Fegley’s, and PRCP for patrons 21 and over from 12:00–9:00 PM.

Stop by community resource tables and browse unique goods from local artists and small businesses between 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

Fireworks Finale – 9:15 PM

The grand finale begins with remarks by Mayor Matt Tuerk at 9:00 PM, followed by a live rendition of the National Anthem, leading into a 25-minute fireworks display at 9:15 PM, set to a special patriotic playlist curated by the Mayor.
