Last Minute Gift Idea…OMS/SMS Chorale at Phantoms-Friday, January 20th

Looking for a list minute gift or stocking stuffer? Come back to school with a Friday night out!!

The combined musical forces of both Parkland Middle School Chorales will open the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Game against the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins singing our National Anthem!

Register now for PHS Children’s Theatre Workshop in January

On Saturday, Jan. 7th and Sunday, Jan. 8th, the Parkland High School Performing Arts Club will hold their annual Theatre Workshop where students will experience acting, singing, dancing and stagecraft aspects of theatre through hands-on activities. This year’s theme is “Inside Out.” For complete workshop info, click here.

The Workshop makes a great gift for a child. Registrations are due no later than December 30th!

Dec 16, Lady Trojans Basketball Youth Night. Youth basketball players wearing their game jerseys will be admitted to the game free of charge and receive a ticket for a free hot dog. Half-time competitions for youth at both JV and Varsity games. Autograph session with this year’s varsity team after the game! Raffle: 1st Prize- 39” Vizio Smart TV, 2nd Prize- Powerbeats 2 Wireless Headphones, 3rd Prize- Fitbit Activity and Sleep Tracker. Click here for flyer.

Dec 20, OMS Change for Change at Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, 10 AM.

It’s Back! The student body and staff at OMS have generously collected almost $4,000 in an effort to be kind and pay it forward. They will be on site and paying random check out bills for people who are grocery shopping at Grocery Outlet Bargain Market in Tilghman Square, 4628 Broadway, Allentown, PA 18104. The OMS community has truly embraced the idea of promoting kindness through the various activities including a coat drive, Salvation Army and adopting local families for the holidays.

Dec 21, SMS Change for Change at Weis/Target on Cedar Crest Blvd. 11:30 AM. You guessed it, SMS has also collected money to pay random checkout bills as a random act of kindness. The goal is to spread cheer and inspire someone else to perform a random act of kindness and pay it forward.

Dec 23 – Jan 2 – Winter Break, SCHOOLS CLOSED.

Class of 2017 is selling yard signs to congratulate seniors. Signs will be printed

on both sides and come with the yard posts (see photo above of the sign graphic). They will be available in May 2017. You will be emailed when signs are ready to be picked up at the HS. Each sign is $22. Signs are vinyl, 24” x 18”, and come with yard posts. Checks should be

made payable to PHS Class of 2017. Forms can be submitted online at the following
