Jewelry Redesign and Repair to Benefit Judith Adele Agentis Charitable Foundation



BETHLEHEM, PA – Musselman Jewelers, Bethlehem’s oldest jeweler, is hosting a free, Jewelry Redesign and Repair Workshop, Saturday, January  24, 11 to 4 pm, at 550 Main Street, Bethlehem, Pa.

Proceeds from redesign work booked on the day of the event will benefit the Judith Adele Agentis Charitable Foundation (JAACF), a Lehigh Valley non-profit devoted to early detection of pancreatic, colon and cervical cancers.

JAACF earned the Heart of Hospice Award in Spring 2014, and the Shiny Star Award from St. Luke’s Hospital in November.  For more information about the JAACF, visit www.JAACF.org.

The Redesign Jewelry Workshop is meant for anybody who would like to learn more about the repurposing or custom redesign of heirloom, or other existing fine or antique jewelry pieces.

“Often, people want to learn more about redesigning or repurposing their precious heirloom jewels, gems and other fine or semi precious jewelry,” says Tom Anderko, owner of Musselman Jewelers, founded in 1935.

“Whether you wish to create a new setting for a family keepsake gem, or simply alter the length or look of a bracelet, necklace or broach, you may find this session of interest,” says Musselman jewelry designer Randi Keeler Sigafoos. She notes that guests are welcome to bring their old or broken jewelry, and/or photos of keepsakes or design ideas.

Musselman Jewelers is located at 550 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.

Founded in 1935, the jeweler is Bethlehem’s oldest and specializes in diamonds, custom design, and is diamond certified from the Gemological Institute of America.
