FEED THE CHILDREN, Bethlehem is looking for volunteers to join their “Weeknight Box Brigade.” Volunteers will pack boxes of food and personal care items which are then distributed across the Northeastern United States. The Weeknight Box Brigade takes place the second Thursday of every other month. The first Thursday will be February 8 from 5-8pm. SIXTH STREET SHELTER, Allentown needs volunteers to restock and refresh apartments on Saturdays from 10am – 2pm. As apartments are vacated, they must be cleaned and restocked for incoming residents. When families move out, they are allowed to take sheets, pillows, blanket, and other household items with them. Volunteers will then restock these items from the donation basement.
