ALLENTOWN RESCUE MISSION needs volunteers to assist with fiscal year-end reporting of their 2018 Food and Supply Count. All supplies in storage/supply area and food items in the pantry must be weighed and recorded by Friday, June 29. Great project for groups! AMERICA ON WHEELS MUSEUM, Allentown is seeking friendly, dedicated volunteers (age 16+) for their 2018 Season. Areas to consider for sharing your time and talents: School Field Trips, Summer Camp Session in July, Admissions Desk with cash register (training provided), or helping in the 1950’s Café serving hot dogs and ice cream. CENTER FOR VISION LOSS, Allentown needs volunteers to assist clients with visual impairment during weekly walk at the Lehigh Valley Mall from 9-10:30am every Wednesday. All volunteers will be trained in sighted guide procedures. Volunteers must use their own transportation to get to the Mall. Current FBI Criminal Background Check is required. DELAWARE & LEHIGH NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR, Easton has a need for volunteers to help with their 30th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, June 2 and Bike to Brunch on Sunday, June 3. NORTHAMPTON CO. HISTORICAL/GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY, Easton is seeking volunteers (age 16+) to serve as docents/museum guides and help bring history to life. Must enjoy interaction with public and be able to communicate information well. Requires standing/walking for up to 2 hours. One-on-one training provided, along with manuals and other written material. Morning and afternoon shifts of 3-4 hours are available from Wed. through Sun.; should work at least 2 shifts per month.
