Season Two of PBS39 Local Program
 FOCUS Kicks off September 19
Bethlehem, PA – September 3, 2014 — PBS39 is proud to announce the second season of the Emmy® nominated local magazine show FOCUS, which premieres Friday, September 19, 2014 at 7:00pm. As the name implies, FOCUS showcases the people, places and issues of value to residents of eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey. Hosted by Laura McHugh, the returning program features reporters Grover Silcox and Brittany Garzillo.
“It’s exciting to kick off the season two premiere of FOCUS with the announcement of four Emmy® nominations,” says Tim Fallon, CEO, PBS39. “To be honored with this in the program’s first year of production is a true testament to our staff’s dedication to providing entertaining and quality programming to the Greater Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.”

Season two marks the beginning of First Fridays on FOCUS, a special segment that highlights local arts, individual artists, and events taking place in the area. The First Fridays segment is scheduled to air on the first Friday of the month on October 3 and November 7. The upcoming season also includes a segment called Spotlight on Service, which profiles the charitable missions of local nonprofit organizations in the Greater Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.

“The first season of FOCUS was a great success,” says Laura McHugh, Host and Executive Producer of the show. “In season two, we will continue our dedication to high production value and in depth coverage of timely issues. I’m also excited to incorporate the new segments, which will keep our viewers educated and entertained.”

PBS39 airs new episodes of FOCUS on Fridays at 7:00pm, and re-airs shows on Sundays at 11:30am and 5:30pm, and Mondays at 11:30pm.
Season two of FOCUS premieres September 19th, at 7:00pm and features (left to right) Laura McHugh, Grover Silcox and Brittany Garzillo.
