Easton, PA — On the Domestic Run, in partnership with Angels of Easton Hands Helping Hands, The Covid-Tier Foundation Inc., Ky Kitchen and Posh Cove, is excited to host a free Back to School Festival for families across the Lehigh Valley. A day designed to help families prepare for the school year while enjoying a day of fun and community connection. It will take place on Saturday, August 23, from 11 AM to 3 PM at 1817 Meadow Lane Drive, Easton, PA 18040.
This free family-friendly event features:
- A free pool party (participants must bring swimwear)
- Free food and kid-friendly activities
- A back-to-school backpack supply giveaway for students in need
In advance of the event, a School Supply Drive is running now through August 20. Donations can be dropped at locations in Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton.
Requested supplies include:
- Backpacks, K–12 sizes (new)
- Notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils
- Folders, binders, glue sticks, rulers, erasers
- Highlighters, index cards, scissors
- Hygiene products (toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer, etc)
- Lunchboxes
