EASTON — The planning committee for the 2026 Eastern PA Greenways & Trails Summit has opened its call for presentation proposals for this year’s event, to be held Sept. 16–18 in Bethlehem. Members of the regional trails community are invited to contribute to three days of speakers, breakout sessions and discussions on leading topics in greenways and trail development. Proposals are due Friday, April 24, 2026.

The Summit will bring together trail, greenway and community leaders for three days of learning, collaboration and exploration in the heart of historic Bethlehem. Set against the Lehigh Valley’s natural landscapes and Bethlehem’s vibrant downtown, the event offers opportunities to engage with peers, expand professional knowledge and celebrate the corridor’s trail‑focused achievements.

Presentation proposals should align with one of four categories: Policies and Planning, Community and Access, Funding and Impact, or Local and Heritage Highlights. Organizers will also consider proposals outside these categories and encourage creativity. Presenters may select a session format that best fits their content. Standard sessions are 60 or 90 minutes.

Questions about proposal relevance may be directed to economicdevelopment@delawareandlehigh.org.

The 2026 Eastern PA Greenways & Trails Summit is made possible through generous support from sponsors and a dedicated planning committee. This year’s event will Celebrate Paths Through Time in recognition of America 250.
