Bethlehem Area School District – School Closure Feeding Program

The Bethlehem Area School District, in conjunction with Aramark has made available free bagged breakfast and lunch to all children in Bethlehem through age 18 including Charter School Students and Private and Parochial Students in the Bethlehem Area. Meals are available now through Friday, March 20, 2020 of this week and again next week from Monday, March 23 to Friday, March 27. The location sites to pick up the bagged breakfast and lunch can be found on the attached document.

Tuesday, March 17 Pop tart with Animal Crackers, Fruit, Milk
Wednesday, March 18 Cereal with Graham Crackers, Fruit, Milk
Thursday, March 19 Muffin with Animal Crackers, Fruit, Milk
Friday, March 20 Cereal with Graham Crackers, Fruit, Milk
Monday, March 23 Cereal Bar with Animal Crackers, Fruit, Milk

A breakfast and lunch meal will be provided for free to all children ages 18 and under between 10:00am to 1:00pm at the following locations:

Broughal Middle School: 114 W Morton St., Bethlehem, PA 18015

East Hills Middle School: 2005 Chester Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017

  • Main Entrance, Set of Doors on the Left

Nitschmann Middle School: 1002 West Union Boulevard, Bethlehem PA 18018

  • Bus Drop Off Line, If rain: Auditorium Entrance

Northeast Middle School: 1170 Fernwood Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018

  • 7th Grade Entrance

Calypso Elementary: 1021 Calypso Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18018

  • Main Entrance, If rain: Multipurpose Room

Fountain Hill Elementary: 1330 Church Street, Fountain Hill, PA 18015

  • Parking Lot, If rain: Community School Entrance

In accordance with the National School Lunch Program and PDE, children must be present to receive a meal.

In accordance with the USDA waiver policy of non-congregate settings, no one will be permitted to remain on school property after receiving the bagged meals.

If you are a part of the BackPack Pal’s program, the bags will be available on Friday at the following middle schools: Broughal, East Hills and Northeast. If you live in or near Lynfield Community Center, you can pick up your bag at the Lynfield Community Center. They will be first come first served.
