Greater Bath Area Chamber Presents:

Bath Area Restaurant Week

Sunday, October 4 – Saturday, October 10, 2020

Event Information: The Greater Bath Area Chamber, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce presents Greater Bath’s first ever Restaurant Week with 14 participating businesses!

Calling all foodies! Just in time to head into fall, Greater Bath Area Chamber’s first ever Restaurant Week premiers from October 4-10, 2020! This week-long event is designed to shine a spotlight on the diverse and delicious restaurants in the Greater Bath Area while enticing the community to support local businesses when they need it the most.

Participating restaurants will offer a variety of “set-price” or “prix fixe” breakfast, lunch, dinner, and/or dessert selections, take out specials and gift card deals. “The sky’s the limit,” said Kylie Adams, Manager of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “We understand that our restaurants are dealing with changing regulations and all sorts of challenges during the pandemic; our restaurant week is designed to cater to each restaurant to produce what works best for their business. Not only that, restaurant weeks offer an opportunity to try new places and old favorites!” Menus and deals are designed to satisfy a spectrum of palates, budgets and lifestyles.

“The Restaurant Week concept has built so much momentum across the Lehigh Valley.  It is so much fun to spotlight our communities and all they have to offer,” said Jessica O’Donnell, EVP of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber. “We have many fantastic businesses in the Greater Bath Area and this is our time to showcase some of them with our participating restaurants, not only to our local residents, but to foodies across the Lehigh Valley.”

O’Donnell and her team produce multiple Restaurant Weeks throughout the Lehigh Valley all year long, staggered to spotlight different communities. Most recently, Nazareth Area Restaurant week proved a huge success only a few boroughs and townships away. “The Bath Area Chamber has been working towards a Restaurant Week for over a year now and this is the perfect time to hold our inaugural event,” said Jessica. “Our businesses need our support in these challenging times, and we’re happy to have a way to do that.”

Manny Mirabito, proprietor of My Place Pizza Restaurant, is participating for the first time this year. “We are very excited to be a part of the first-ever Restaurant Week here in Bath! Especially during this time, it is important to showcase all of the local eateries in the area. We are grateful for the Lehigh Valley Chamber and their efforts in keeping small business at the forefront.” My Place Pizza Restaurant, located at 270 East Northampton Street in Bath, is offering a gift card deal to entice diners.

With fourteen restaurants participating from Bath and Northampton, the variety of restaurants are sure to please! George Yaniger, Owner of the Gin Mill & Grille, is excited to participate for the first year. The Gin Mill & Grille serves up tavern favorites on Main Street in Northampton.

“The Owners and our most dedicated staff of The Gin Mill & Grille in Northampton, are taking this opportunity to be a part of Restaurant Week to give back to our valued customers and The Lehigh Valley Chamber who took the initiative to care and to support their local Restaurant & Pub,” says George. “We strive daily to give you the best quality food & service that you deserve, Monday- Sunday 12pm-12am. During these most challenging times that we have faced in 9 years, we’ve received an unmeasurable amount of love and support from our local communities, and we want to reward you for your dedication to us!”

Several businesses throughout the Lehigh Valley have come out to sponsor and support the event as well; Tony Tibaldi, of State Farm Insurance, is Presenting Sponsor. “The Tony Tibaldi State Farm Agency is so proud to be the presenting sponsor for the first ever Greater Bath Area Restaurant Week,” said Mr. Tibaldi. “We are so excited that the event is taking place in the coming weeks and hope we can get as much local support as possible for these fantastic restaurants. Shop small! Shop Local!”
