September 24, 2020 –Univest Financial® recently presented Habitat for Humanity Lehigh Valley with a check for $2,500. Since 2009, Univest has supported various Lehigh Valley nonprofits through the IronPigs Double Plays Pays sponsorship in which Univest makes a $25 donation to a local nonprofit each time the IronPigs make a double play. While the IronPigs season was cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Univest honored its commitment to make a donation to the nonprofit chosen to be this year’s recipient – Habitat for Humanity Lehigh Valley.
Previous sponsorship recipients include Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County, Lehigh Valley Zoo, Boys & Girls Club of Allentown, Big Brothers Big Sisters Lehigh Valley, Valley Youth House, The Fund to Benefit Children & Youth and the Community Music School.
