December 11th – December 12th, 2020

The holidays may look a little different this year, but the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce (NACC) is hosting two events to get you and your loved ones in the holiday spirit. Don’t miss these two days that are jam-packed with festive activities for the entire family!

On December 11th, they will hosting their Virtual Tree Lighting Ceremony presented in partnership with Dan’s Camera City. Tune in for this annual tradition from the comfort of your home! At 7 PM, the ceremony will be broadcasted on the Nazareth Area Chamber’s Facebook Page.

The following day, December 12th, they will host Christmas in Nazareth from 10 AM – 3 PM in partnership with Dan’s Camera City. While this year’s event is scaled back, there will still be plenty of fun for the entire family. The day will include the Elf Trail, a Virtual Story Time with Santa, popular children’s characters, tours from Moravian Historical Society, and more! The Holiday Farmer’s Market will be up and running with additional vendors in the southwest quadrant of the Circle. Moravian Historical Society will also host a holiday market. Be sure to visit The Chamber’s tents at the Circle as they will have complimentary toys, coloring packets, hot chocolate kits, and candy canes for the children. The Grand Prize Drawing for the Nazareth Area Chamber’s and Nazareth Economic Development Commission’s Shop Small Sweepstakes will also take place at 1 PM in the Circle. Jessica O’Donnell, EVP of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, commented, “These two popular annual Holiday traditions in Nazareth could not come at a better time for all of us! Yes we’ve made a few edits to maintain a very safe environment, but we still have a great schedule of events for all ages that promises to put EVERYONE in the holiday spirit while supporting many local small businesses. Be sure to check us out and spread some holiday cheer—you’ll be glad you did!”

Mayor Lance Colondo said, “The holiday season is upon us again, and as Mayor of Nazareth Borough I want to thank the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce for hosting two holiday events for our residents and local businesses to enjoy. The Tree Lighting Ceremony and Christmas in Nazareth are both events that have become much anticipated annual traditions! Shop small and local and enjoy the holidays here in Nazareth!

Mike Woodland, Co-Owner of Dan’s Camera City, commented, “Christmas in Nazareth is a wonderful holiday event for the whole family. Dan’s is pleased to sponsor this event again as we bring together the Friday evening tree lighting with the Saturday events to create a great holiday memory for Nazareth and beyond. I look forward to seeing the community enjoy our efforts!”

Lauren Bertucci, Manager of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, commented, “As these uncertain times continue, we need the holiday spirit now more than ever.
