(LEHIGH VALLEY, PA)- ASPIRE to Autonomy, Inc., a local anti-trafficking non-profit, voted unanimously to welcome Pete Reinke as their newest board member.

Pete Reinke works as a Business Development Officer and Assistant Vice President at Univest Bank and Trust Co. Reinke, a graduate of Lafayette College, is skilled with nonprofit organizations, business planning, analysis, urban planning, and event management. He specializes in creating connections, and, in addition to ASPIRE, serves as a board member for ProJeCt of Easton.

“It is humbling to be part of an organization like ASPIRE,” Reinke said. “I believe in the mission and now I have the ability to assist the team as they save people’s lives, that’s why I am excited.”

ASPIRE is A Supportive Presence, Initiating Recovery and Empowerment that provides an opportunity for growth and development and fosters autonomy. Survivors of human trafficking have the right to be treated with dignity, respect, and love. They should be looked to as the experts of their life and should be awarded the same rights and opportunities to pursue their hopes and ambitions. ASPIRE believes in the cultivation of resources, services, community, and human relationships to foster equity and allow dreams to become a reality.

Founded in 2018, Aspire to Autonomy Inc. has been on the front lines in the fight against trafficking in the Lehigh Valley and beyond.
