Drug & Alcohol Division receives a grant for Medication Assisted Treatment

Lamont McClure and the Division of Drug & Alcohol announce the awarding of a $620,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs to be used for Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). MAT is considered the gold standard treatment for Opioid Use Disorder.

Northampton County’s Drug & Alcohol Division will use the funding for both the oral and injectable forms of Buprenorphine and Vivitrol for any resident in need.
