Lehigh Valley Public Media Elects Arundhati (Tinku) Khanwalkar to its 2021 Board of Directors

Bethlehem, PA – March 23, 2021 – Lehigh Valley Public Media has elected Arundhati (Tinku) Khanwalkar to the new 2021 slate of board members and officers.

Khanwalkar is an attorney with over 30 years of experience in her field, where she focused on risk analysis, environmental policy and strategy and corporate compliance and ethics. Khanwalkar recently retired to dedicate her time to environmental and social endeavors.

“Arundhati is absolutely invaluable to us as an additional board member for Lehigh Valley Public Media. We are certain with her vast breadth of experience, her counsel will be crucial for decisions the board makes in 2021 and into the future,” said Steven Thompson, Lehigh Valley Public Media Board Chair.

Prior to founding her firm AVK Counsel PLLC as well as renewable energy research firm Energy 18H LLC, Khanwalkar served as a Senior Counsel and Corporate Compliance Director for PPL Corporation.

“I’m honored to play a role on this board as a long time public media fan and an advocate for PBS39 and 91.3 WLVR’s mission in this community,” said Khanwalkar.
