AMERICAN RED CROSS PA RIVERS CHAPTER, Allentown is seeking bilingual volunteers to serve the Lehigh Valley community in a variety of ways including recruiting other bilingual volunteers, responding to local emergencies like home fires and floods, assisting with casework for families and individuals who have experienced an emergency. BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS LEHIGH VALLEY is looking for compassionate and energetic volunteers to become ‘Bigs’ for youth ages seven (7) to sixteen (16) in Lehigh and Northampton County. Our matches typically meet twice a month and can participate in activities that they are most interested in. CAMELOT FOR CHILDREN, Allentown is looking for adults and teens (min age 14, or 6 with adult) 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Tuesdays & Thursdays from June 21 to July 30th for our six-week day camp. You will help us create the magic of childhood for special needs kids and their siblings with crafts, activities, special guest entertainment, and enjoy the playground and splashpad located on the campus. NATIONAL MUSEUM OF INDUSTRIAL HISTORY, Bethlehem is seeking team oriented adult volunteers willing to work outdoors on the first and third Saturdays of the month, April through October, to assist in the operation of the short demonstration railway and locomotive. No experience necessary and training is required. Shifts are flexible but must be committed to in advance. Masks and other COVID-19 protocols will be followed. THE WHOLE LIFE CENTER, Easton, Driver needed Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays 10 or 10:30 a.m. to approximately 1 or 2 p.m. weekly, to drive a box truck to pick-up food from Sam’s Club, then help unload, weigh and on different days deliver the food to other organizations in the Easton area.
