The City of Allentown is expanding its Call Center access to assist city and Lehigh County seniors and now food industry workers, including restaurant employees, in registering for COVID-19 vaccinations.

Grocery workers and food/ag workers in Pennsylvania became immediately eligible for the vaccine on March 31.

The Call Center at 610.890.7069 is open to Allentown and Lehigh County citizens who are 55 years of age and older, and food industry workers living or working in Allentown and Lehigh County that have difficulty scheduling a vaccination appointment on-line.

The Call Center is available Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Calls will reach a bilingual person who will assist in scheduling a COVID vaccination as supply of vaccine permits.

Call volume is expected to be high and your patience is requested.

At this time the center is for appointments for Allentown/Lehigh County seniors and food industry workers only. Others are urged to schedule with the Allentown Health Bureau online, contact and register with the hospital network of your choice, or wait until more vaccine becomes available.

Call center operators cannot assist with missed appointments or general COVID questions.
