The Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation is expanding access to City of Allentown swimming pool facilities.

Admission this season had been restricted to city residents. Effective Monday August 2, 2021, non-residents will be able to access both Mack and Cedar Beach pools for the remainder of the season.

Mack Pool remains open daily from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. through Friday, August 27.  Non-Resident daily admission rates are $8.00 for individuals ages 4-to-59, $4.00 for individuals age 60 and over and free for non-residents ages 3-and- under.

Cedar Beach Pool remains open daily from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. through Monday, September 6. Non-Resident daily admission rates are $12.00 for individuals ages 4-to-59, $4.00 for individuals age 60 and over and free for non-residents ages 3-and-under.

The city’s two spray parks located in Bucky Boyle Park (10 Pump Place) and the Old Fairgrounds Playground (5th St. between Gordon and Liberty streets) will remain open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Monday, September 6.

The city pools follow all current CDC and PA Department of Health COVID-19 Guidelines. Pool and spray park users are highly encouraged not to attend or participate if they are experiencing signs of COVID-19 such as fever, coughing, shortness of breath and loss of taste or smell.
