Donation opportunities available for patrons supporting ArtsQuest’s mission
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — ArtsQuest will present an in-person Musikfest this year, restoring a sense of community for its patrons, while still trying to fully recover from a 70 percent loss in revenue due to the pandemic.
This year, Musikfest will provide approximately 300 free performances, including free children’s programming, while still providing paying gigs for all the musicians. Additionally, the ‘fest connects the community with local food and craft vendors, supporting local business and stimulating the economy. Above all, Musikfest provides a place for community members to enjoy themselves and all the Lehigh Valley has to offer.
Aside from Musikfest, ArtsQuest provides countless opportunities for the community to enjoy, year-round, including different musical, artistic, cultural and educational experiences on its campus at the SteelStacks and Banana Factory.
“ArtsQuest remained open throughout the entirety of the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization provided virtual programming at the pandemic’s onset and in-person offerings as soon as safely possible,” Selena Lavonier, Sr. Director of Advancement said. “ArtsQuest has been able to keep its doors open despite a significant loss in revenue because of community support. We are thankful to every person and business that has stepped forward in ArtsQuest’s time of need.”
