Catty in Bloom Festival Debuts This Spring in Catasauqua

Presented by the Whitehall Area Chamber, The Borough of Catasauqua, and Fellowship Community, the new festival promises a day in full bloom.

Spring is in the air, and the community is invited to celebrate at the Catty in Bloom Festival, a free, family-friendly event presented by the Whitehall Area Chamber, The Borough of Catasauqua, and Fellowship Community. The festival brings residents, businesses, and visitors together to celebrate the arrival of spring. Festival highlights include a variety of local craft vendors selling items perfect for Easter baskets, delicious eats from The Burger Shack food truck, and sweet treats from Sugar Cycle Ice Cream.

Crafts will be available for adults and children alike, including a make your own flower bouquet bar. To top it all off, the Easter Bunny will be there for photos and will be providing a free goodie bag to the first 100 guests!

“We’re excited to be the presenting sponsor of this first-time event. Fellowship is deeply rooted in our local community, and we enjoy supporting innovative events,” said Mary Kay McMahon, President/CEO of Fellowship Community. “Catty in Bloom is just what we need to kickoff Spring!”

This festival will take place on Saturday, March 28th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Catasauqua Municipal Building immediately following the annual Easter egg hunt hosted by the Catasauqua and North Catasauqua Fire Departments. Families can enjoy a full day of festivities, beginning with the morning egg hunt and continuing into an afternoon of community connection and seasonal fun. To ensure guests can seamlessly enjoy all the festivities, a rotating shuttle, sponsored by Kaye-Ann Brown Barrett, State Farm Agent, will run between Catasauqua Park and Borough Hall from 12:30pm to 6:00pm, making it easy for guests to travel from the egg hunt to the festival while providing convenient parking throughout the day.

“Catty in Bloom is the perfect way to welcome spring in Catasauqua,” said Chloe Krempasky, Manager of the Whitehall Area Chamber. “It’s a day where families, neighbors, and local businesses can come together to celebrate the season and enjoy all that our community has to offer.”

With something for all ages, Catty in Bloom is designed to be a joyful, welcoming event for the entire community.
