Allentown, PA — [3/16/2026] — Hounds Town Allentown is celebrating two years of providing safe, engaging dog daycare and boarding to the Lehigh Valley community with a playful twist: an “Unbirthday” celebration for all dogs.

Inspired by the whimsical idea that every day deserves a celebration, the event invited local pet parents and their pups to join in marking the facility’s second anniversary with a party where every dog gets to feel like it’s their special day.

Since opening its doors in 2024, Hounds Town Allentown has become known for its unique approach to dog daycare, offering fully interactive playgroups designed to mimic natural pack behavior. The facility provides daycare, overnight boarding for dogs & cats, and spa services in a safe, structured environment where dogs can socialize, exercise, and thrive.

“Our goal from day one has been to create a place where dogs can be dogs,” said owner Linda D’Alessandro. “Celebrating our second anniversary with an “Unbirthday” party felt like the perfect way to thank the incredible community of pet parents who trust us with their dogs every day.”

The anniversary celebration featured themed activities, treats for the dogs, photo opportunities, and special promotions for attendees. It also served as a thank-you to the loyal “Townies” the dogs who regularly attend daycare and have helped build the Hounds Town community over the past two years.

Over the last two years, Hounds Town Allentown has welcomed thousands of visits from local dogs while building partnerships with local pet professionals and supporting community initiatives focused on animal welfare.
