The Emmaus Main Street Partners have excitedly spent the past few months planning for the annual end of summer celebration. When we say goodbye to one season, we say hello to another…AUTUMN! We invite the entire Lehigh Valley community to come to Emmaus to celebrate the turning of the season with friends, family, employees, coworkers, neighbors and strangers on Saturday September 18, 2021 from 11am-4pm. There will be many aspects of the event with something for all ages!
We’ll have live music to enjoy whether you’re just sitting listening to the songs or as background music while you’re shopping. Local storefronts will be open including Triangle businesses like Emmaus Jewel Shop, Apport Used Books, The Deca Salon, Emmaus Pharmacy, Handmade Mystic Crystals, Cottage and Bloom, FD Market, Korpics Upholstery and Lazy Hound Consignment, and more! There will also be some craft and product vendors set up with small booths for browsing and purchase as well.
Rather than bringing in food trucks, we encourage attendees to eat at local restaurants in town: David’s Italian Market, Licensed 2 Grill, Swadee Thai House, Armetta’s Italian Restaurant & Pub, Volpe’s Sports Bar, and more!
For families, there will be kids activities hosted by Active Learning Centers and Lehigh Valley Martial Arts. To help people get exposure to our local businesses, we’ll be hosting the Scarecrow Trail. Families can pick up passports at the Information Tent on the day of the event or print it from our event pages. Participants will then take their passport around to the businesses listed on the passport and get a stamp from each Scarecrow at the business. Once you have a full passport, return to the Information Table before 4pm and receive your goodie bag! Goodie bags will include candy, a free Emmaus Theatre movie ticket, noisemakers, crayons, coloring pages, temporary tattoos, and MORE!
Attendees can park along Main Street and Chestnut Street for a maximum of two hours per usual. Side streets are available for parking as well as community lots around the Borough. The Main Street Parking Area of the Triangle will be closed on the day of the event from 9am-5pm to get vendors set up, enable guests to walk safely, and allow time for tear down. We request that festival attendees DO NOT park at Buss Paints & Wallpaper parking lot as that is for their patrons.
Sponsored by East Penn Manufacturing, the Emmaus Theatre will have a FREE kid-friendly, community movie after the event is over. Movie start time is approximately 4:30pm.
