The City of Allentown Parks and Recreation Department will host its 16th Annual Doggie Dips this weekend.
Dogs of all breeds and sizes and their owners are invited to participate:
Saturday, August 28 from 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Mack Pool
Sunday, August 29 from 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Mack Pool
The cost is $4.00 for residents and $8.00 for non-residents. Proof of residency is required to receive the resident rate.
All participants are to be aware of the following rules for the event:
- Dogs must be non-aggressive towards other dogs and humans
- One handler per dog in the pool at a time
- Must have valid current 2021 dog license
- Must be current on all vaccinations (Rabies/Distemper)
Monetary donations can be made to Friends of the Allentown Parks. Dry pet food donations on behalf of Lehigh County Humane Society will be accepted and are appreciated.
Pre-Registration is recommended online at www.allentownparksandrec.com. Onsite registration is also available.
