The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation’s “Movies in the Park” series comes to Cedar Beach Park on Friday, September 10 with the showing of Toy Story 4.

The movie will be set up in the field between Ott Street and the main parking lot. It begins at dusk or approximately 7:30 p.m.

“Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) and the rest of the gang embark on a road trip with Bonnie and a new toy named Forky. The adventurous journey turns into an unexpected reunion as Woody’s slight detour leads him to his long-lost friend Bo Peep. As Woody and Bo discuss the old days, they soon start to realize that they’re worlds apart when it comes to what they want from life as a toy.”

The movie will be preceded by a variety of family friendly activities. The Cedar Beach Pool concession stand will be open for refreshments to purchase before and during the movie.

Attendees are required to adhere to all current CDC and PA Department of Health COVID-19 Guidelines. Attendees are highly encouraged not to attend if they are experiencing any signs that might be associated with COVID-19 such as fever, coughing, shortness of breath and loss of taste or smell.
