Jessica O’Donnell, EVP of Affiliated Chambers & Northern Tier, for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, commented, “For ten years, Nazareth Hometown Hardware has served this community through their friendly retail environment, dedication to their customers, and support of other local businesses and initiatives. They are truly a staple in the Nazareth Area, and we are so grateful to have had Barb, Mike, and their wonderful team in the community for so long. We encourage you to join us on October 1st as we celebrate this milestone, all that they’ve accomplished thus far, and what the future holds!”
Mike Woodland, Chair of the Nazareth Area Chamber Board, said, “Nazareth Hometown Hardware has impressed me every time I have stopped in to look for supplies for my latest project. Their convenient downtown location saves me time and their friendly staff always help me find the right solution for the challenge I’m working on. Nazareth is very fortunate to have a wonderful business such as this in our community. I am appreciative that Mike and Barb keep investing their time and resources in our business district.”
Mike and Barb, Co-Owners of Nazareth Hometown Hardware, commented, “We would like to invite you to our 10th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting Ceremony! We are blessed to have been in business this long and are excited to continue serving the community with the recent signing of another five-year lease. We could not have done it without some very important people who are no longer with us, including Tommy Itterly, our Co-Founder, Master Plumber Kermit “Frog” Kehs, and the jack of all traits, Daniel Huston. To our helpers, Katie Werkheiser and Melissa Hamm, and our long- time employee John Flynn, who retired after numerous years of service in February 2020, thank you for being with us since the beginning and whenever we needed you. Last, but certainly not least, thank you to our valued regular customers and account holders for supporting our childhood dream and making it come true. While the pandemic took out many small businesses, we were fortunate to have been open and able to continue assisting our regular and many new customers. To show our appreciation, we will have a store wide sale starting Friday, October 1st at 2 PM and continuing until Saturday, October 2nd at 3 PM. Guests will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a chance to win a prize!”
