EASTON, PA – November 17, 2021 – The Easton Winter Village kicks off its second holiday season a week earlier this year with more vendor huts, a larger skating rink, and more live entertainment. An Opening Ceremony with city, local, and state elected officials will be held this Saturday, 11/20 at 1 pm at the stage.

Running on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from November 19 through December 19, the Winter Village features 23 huts occupied by city retailers, restaurants, and crafters, with a synthetic ice-skating rink, and stage for live entertainment. The free-admission event takes place in and around Centre Square under the white lights in the trees and beneath the Peace Candle, which will be lit next weekend.

Live entertainment is planned each day, including singers, bands, strolling musicians, visits by princesses and holiday characters, stilt walkers, and more. Visits with Santa will happen at the Sigal Museum, and Cinderella Carriage Rides will be available on select weekends. (Carriage rides required advance online ticket purchase.)

Hours of operation are: Fridays – 4 – 8 pm; Saturdays – noon – 8 pm; and Sundays – noon – 6 pm. Black Friday (11/26) will be special hours of noon – 8 pm. Event details, ice skating rink ticket sales, and a calendar of entertainment and activities for kids and families can be found at www.eastonwintervillage.com

The city also encourages visitors to Easton to explore its more than 40 downtown retailers for holiday gifts, and enjoy meals at its restaurants. The Winter Village is managed by the city’s event partner, the nonprofit Greater Easton Development Partnership. They also plan the annual Peace Candle Lighting Ceremony presented by IBEW Local 102 on Saturday 11/27 at 6:30 pm.
