On March 5th starting at noon, you can celebrate 4 years of fun, friends, drinks, stories, and more at Gallows Hill Spirits Co., 2208 South 12th Street Allentown. Gallows Hill Spirits Co. will have a Sip & Shop event from 12 to 5. They are giving away prizes. (You must be present to win per the Facebook page.)
Going to Gallows is more of an experience. I found out about Gallows thanks to my friend and fellow Valley Ledger contributor, Joe Scrizzi. The owner of Gallows, Mr. Robert Piano also hosts tours inside, and Mr. Piano’s family are descendants of the “Soothsayer of Andover, a witch hanged on Gallows Hill, in 1692 Salem.”
They sell finely crafted spirits, and everything is made on the premises. I have met some of the most wonderful friends and people. There is an ambiance to the entire place. A pleasant atmosphere where everyone shares a zest of life with you. I’ve never been to a place where you can feel the happiness, you feel the history even is someone is having a bad day, it will most likely dimmish after being at Gallows for a few minutes. Once you start talking to everyone and you have a drink, it’s as if you have known everything for a lifetime.
