KidsPeace Names Melissa (Missy) Hartney Director of Development

SCHNECKSVILLE, PA (March 1, 2022) – KidsPeace announced that Melissa (Missy) Hartney has joined its staff as Director of Development, with responsibility for overseeing philanthropic fundraising in support of the provider of mental and behavioral health services for children and families.

Ms. Hartney has worked in business development, marketing, event management and fundraising for the past 15 years with organizations like the Allentown Art Museum and the Morning Call. She comes to KidsPeace having most recently served as the Southside Arts District Downtown Manager for the Bethlehem Economic Development Corporation.

In her new role, Ms. Hartney will manage the organization’s fundraising efforts – including event planning and execution, the annual KidsPeace donor appreciation effort, direct mail campaigns, and management of donor records. She will also be the key KidsPeace contact for the donor community in the Lehigh Valley.

Ms. Hartney, a resident of Bethlehem, PA, will be based at KidsPeace’s administrative headquarters in Schnecksville, PA.
