Allentown DeMolay Celebrates DeMolay Month



Allentown City Council presented Allentown DeMolay with a proclamation celebrating the 103rd anniversary of DeMolay and recognizing March as DeMolay Month in the City of Allentown during its regular meeting on Wednesday night. Master Councilor and Representative DeMolay Justin Ortiz accepted the proclamation in behalf of the officers, members and advisors of the Chapter.

DeMolay is a Masonic youth organization founded in 1919 in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1923 in Pennsylvania and in 1926 in Allentown. 

The local group meets at the Allentown Masonic Temple located at 1524 Linden Street. 

DeMolay teaches values and leadership skills to young men ages 9-21.
