Lehigh Valley based jazz singer, songwriter, arranger, recording artist and bandleader Corinne Mammana and her band will perform A Jazzy Disney Songbook Concert Friday, April 1st at 8pm at the Sellersville Theater. The concert will celebrate the Disney songbook via Mammana’s jazzy arrangements of classic and modern Disney songs from the 1930s to present day. This marks Mammana’s debut at this historic venue.

Praised by JazzTimes for “superb technique” and All About Jazz for her “sheer genius” arrangements, Mammana is passionate about preserving the music of the past while placing her own personal spin on the American Songbook, as well as popular tunes from the past few decades. With creative arrangements sung in a sophisticated and soothing style, fans have described Mammana’s voice as a cross between Norah Jones, Julie London and Stacey Kent.

The band will feature legendary bass player Gene Perla (worked with Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, to name a few), Patrick Kerssen on piano, and Vernon J. Mobley on drums. Audience members can expect to hear reimagined Disney favorites, everything from Cinderella, to 101 Dalmatians, to Frozen.

Tickets are $21.50 to $29.50. Kids 12 and under $11.50.
