The City of Allentown along with a group of stakeholders will hold a neighborhood plan presentation for the 1st and 6th wards on Thursday, March 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the America on Wheels Museum at 5 N. Front Street.

The meeting is part of the neighborhood planning component of Allentown Vision 2030, the City’s current comprehensive and economic development plan.

The 1st and 6th wards, which are located between the Lehigh River and Jordan Creek and Sumner Avenue and Union Street, are the first area where neighborhood planning is being fulfilled.

The goal of the meeting is to refine and finalize the vision for this area and will feature a data walk showing the various planning considerations as well as suggested priorities and projects for the next ten years.

There will be light refreshments, activities available for children and raffle prizes.

Anyone is welcome to attend. Residents and businesses in the 1st and 6th wards are encouraged to participate.
