The Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce presents Whitehall Area Restaurant Week!

Calling all foodies: Just in time for spring, the Whitehall Area Chamber’s Restaurant Week will kick off on Sunday, April 10th, 2022! This week-long event is designed to help local residents and visitors from across the Lehigh Valley to discover the unique local dining options that the Whitehall Township and Catasauqua, Coplay and North Catasauqua Boroughs have to offer. Participating restaurants will offer special meals and deals, with both dine-in, take-out and gift card deals available, designed to satisfy a spectrum of palates, budgets and preferences.

“The Whitehall Area Restaurant Week has been running long before the pandemic and will continue long after, but now more than ever, our restaurant community needs our support. We hope this entices the community to eat out and dine local,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, Assistant Vice President of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “The Whitehall area is home to an incredibly diverse local restaurant community within our footprint. Whether you participate this week or stop by to support after the fact, we’re grateful for our community’s support in ensuring our restaurants are supported and sustained!”

This year’s participating businesses include Catty Corner Pub & Pie, Blocker’s Coffeehouse, Samuel Owens, Chick-fil-A Whitehall, Dunderbak’s Marketplace Cafe, The Burger Shack and Tony’s Top Cat Bar and Grille.

“The Chamber hosts restaurant weeks throughout the Lehigh Valley on a year-round basis,” said Jessica O’Donnell, EVP of Affiliated Chambers. “Our goal is always the same: to shine a spotlight on our local restaurants and to have fun supporting them throughout the week!  Many people use Restaurant Week to try a new place within the community, or to explore a community they may not even live in. It’s a win-win for all – we get to enjoy the delicious food, and our businesses benefit from our support!”

Specials range in a variety of deals, from take-out to dine-in. For example, Chick-Fil-A Whitehall (located on MacArthur Road) will be offering a $30 (plus tax) deal that will feature a combo including 30-piece nuggets, two large fries, two soft drinks and two brownies. The Burger Shack, located on 1st Avenue in Whitehall, will provide a complimentary $5 gift certificate towards a future purchase for every $25.00 spent during Restaurant Week. Known for their gourmet stuffed burgers and vegetarian and vegan options, they promise to not let you leave hungry.

Dunderbak’s Marketplace Café, located in the lower level Lehigh Valley Mall near Macy’s, will offer a variety of specials including a red pepper bisque, the “Twin Peaks” Tuna Melt, and spinach strawberry salad to name a few, all coming in under $15. Nearby in Catasauqua, Blocker’s will provide a full 10% off of their menu items with the restaurant week flyer (found on the Restaurant Week website).

This event is proudly presented not only by the Whitehall Area Chamber but our Presenting Sponsor, Patricia Hill of Allstate. “We at Allstate are always looking for opportunities to support our local communities and businesses. Restaurant week opens up the community and allows people the chance to come together to enjoy great food and fellowship. We are proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s Whitehall Area Restaurant Week. Bon Appetit!”
