Bethlehem, PA (September 21, 2022) – With a brand-new music stage, Bethlehem’s annual Harvest Fest will be bigger than ever this year. The One West Broad Stage, in front of Brick Pizza on Broad Street, will make its debut at the popular festival on October 1. “We’re expanding the footprint of that Main Street energy that everybody loves in Bethlehem’s festivals and events,” said Kelly Smith Manager of the Downtown Bethlehem Association. “It’s a great reflection of the resurgence we’re seeing on Broad Street along with the Boyd Theatre redevelopment project.”

Harvest Fest Activities and Entertainment

Harvest Fest started in 2006 as a small wine and beer tasting festival. Since then, it’s grown into the most popular street fair in the Lehigh Valley. In 2020, the pandemic forced event organizers to cancel Harvest Fest. When it returned in 2021, some Covid-related restrictions remained. This year the full Harvest Fest experience will return. “Downtown business owners are counting on a great turnout from people who may have missed out over the past two years. We cannot wait to welcome everyone back,” said Tammy Wendling Senior VP of Bethlehem Initiatives for The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Food vendors include Fegley’s Bethlehem Brew Works, Aw Shucks Roasted Corn, Take a Taco, Nort Port The Cheese Ball Company, and many others. Shoppers will enjoy sidewalk sales from downtown businesses and an array of craft and retail vendors. They include Melmo’s Dog Treats, Excelsior Flowers, The Colony Meadery, Rockin’ Good Health and more.

More Music Than Ever

With four entertainment stages and live music beginning at 11 am, guests will want to spend all day downtown. “They can grab a blanket and relax on the Biergarten Hill near Historic Hotel Bethlehem, jam in front of Corked at the Main Street Stage, grab a drink on the patio at Edge and enjoy the original Broad Street Stage, or check out the brand new One West Broad Stage with a slice of Brick Pizza,” said Wendling.
