EASTON, PA – November 16, 2022 – The City of Easton’s newest holiday tradition – The Easton Winter Village presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network – returns this Friday, November 18 for its third year. It will once again take place under the white lights in the trees and beneath the Peace Candle in Centre Square, which has been renovated in time for the event.

Operating on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from November 18 through December 18, the rain or shine outdoor holiday event features 38 vendor huts with city retailers, restaurants, and crafters, a synthetic ice-skating rink, and stage for live entertainment. An Opening Ceremony with Mayor Sal Panto and event sponsors will be held Saturday, November 19 at 4 pm on the stage.

Live entertainment is planned each day including singers, bands, strolling musicians, visits by holiday characters, stilt walkers, and more. Hours of operation are: Fridays: 4 – 8 pm; Saturdays: noon – 8 pm; and Sundays: noon – 6 pm. Event details, skating ticket sales, and a calendar of entertainment and activities can be found at www.eastonwintervillage.com. The city also encourages visitors to shop small by exploring its more than 40 downtown retailers for holiday gifts, and to enjoy meals at its many restaurants.

The Winter Village is managed by the city’s event partner, the nonprofit Greater Easton Development Partnership, who also plans the annual Peace Candle Lighting Ceremony presented by IBEW Local 102 on Saturday 11/26 at 6:30 pm.
